For more than a decade, DutchBasecamp has helped ambitious founders and companies expand beyond their home markets, enter new countries with confidence, and build the connections needed to grow internationally. Today marks the start of a new chapter, and there are two pieces of news to share: DutchBasecamp is now B/ACE Global, and alongside the new name, we're opening our first international office, in Türkiye, by the end of 2026.
DutchBasecamp was founded in Amsterdam and built around the Dutch startup ecosystem. For over ten years, our focus has been simple: helping companies make smarter decisions about international expansion, validating new markets before committing resources, building local networks, and connecting founders with the investors, corporates, and government bodies that make market entry actually work.
That focus hasn't changed. What's changed is the scale of it. Our work has grown well beyond the Netherlands, and today we support founders and organisations across many markets, working alongside an international network of experts, investors, corporates, government bodies, and ecosystem partners who help companies succeed once they land in a new country.
Through our connection with ACE, our network now spans 19 countries. Since we started, we've supported more than 1,100 founders across 35 countries on their international expansion journeys.
Those numbers are the real reason behind this rebrand: a name built around one country no longer described a team and network operating on this scale.
For years, "DutchBasecamp" did its job. It told founders exactly what they were getting: a Dutch-rooted community that understood the local startup ecosystem and could help you look outward from it.
But somewhere in the last few years, that description stopped matching reality.
"We kept having the same conversation with founders and partners," says Fanni Burai, Marketing and Program Manager. "They'd find us, see the name, and assume we only worked with Dutch companies going abroad, when really we'd built a network stretching across 19 countries. The name was describing our origin story, not our actual work."
That mismatch is the whole reason for the rebrand. B/ACE Global isn't a cosmetic refresh, it's an attempt to name the organisation we'd actually become: a network built through our connection with ACE, supporting founders wherever they are, not just founders leaving the Netherlands.
Another thing we haven't shared publicly before: B/ACE Global is opening its first physical office outside the Netherlands, in Türkiye, by the end of 2026.
"Opening in Türkiye means we're not just supporting founders from a distance anymore," says Julian van der Veer, International Program Specialist. "We're building a local presence in a market that matters most to a lot of the companies we work with."
The office will primarily serve Turkish founders and organisations, giving them direct, local access to the wider international network rather than working through Amsterdam as an intermediary. It will also support international founders and companies looking to enter the Turkish market.
It's also part of a broader effort to deepen the relationship between B/ACE Global and the Turkish startup ecosystem, building closer ties with local founders, partners, and institutions.
Managing Director Masha Moisseyeva puts the logic behind both moves — the rebrand and the office — this way:
"International expansion takes the right market insight, local knowledge, trusted connections, and people who understand what it actually takes to make a new market work. As B/ACE Global, we're taking that ambition further. More markets, more connections, more opportunities to turn international ambition into real growth."

Over the coming months, you'll see the B/ACE Global name replace DutchBasecamp gradually across the website, in emails, at events. During the handover, you'll often see us written as "B/ACE Global (formerly DutchBasecamp)," specifically so there's no confusion about continuity.
DutchBasecamp isn't being erased from the story. It's the name that built the community, the track record, and the foundation this next chapter is standing on. We'll keep referencing it where it's relevant, it just won't be the name on the door going forward.
As for Türkiye: more details on the office itself, including its location and local team, will come as we get closer to opening.
